Visit the Roswell UFO Museum
The Roswell UFO Museum in New Mexico is perhaps the most famous 'landing' site for aliens in the world. In 1947 some sort of airborne craft crash-landed in the desert near Roswell Air Force Base, hence the name. Of course, the explanation offered by the authorities that it was some sort of experimental high altitude surveillance balloon that was involved and indeed provided psychical evidence of such, has only added to the skeptics and theorists' cries of conspiracy theory.
Alien autopsies, smudged polaroid photos, 'scoop' interviews, and incomprehensible crackling radio communication, have ensured over the years that Roswell has become the most well documented and talked about 'alien invasion' ever! However, there was a couple of things missing—firstly the aliens and secondly an alien museum of course!
The Roswell Museum has various exhibits, again like the one in Ireland for the Leprechaun's, none are authentic—unless of course, you count the real UFO outside, the only one in captivity. The building that looks like a converted cinema on the outside, houses some extraordinary 'facts' and figures and is sure to be a good family day out! It, like the actual event, is one of a kind!
Dancing in the Stars
Sightings of spacecraft or UFO's has long been debated, 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' (original), is still one of my favorite movies of all time but for years there have been stories of real alien abductions, sightings in the sky of UFO's or strange lights dancing about and eye witness accounts of seeing 'little green men'. Documentaries have tried in vain to 'get to the bottom of it' but each one draws a blank or at least that somebody saw something!
Having said that, in all fairness, there is that old saying 'there's no smoke without fire' so I guess with our bucket of salt we can safely assume that there must be something that triggered all of this off, and usually in everyone's 'conspiracy theory list' one must put forward a good argument, for the 'government cover-up!' theory.
Looking at the museum one gets a sense that there are times whenever indeed a 'government cover-up' would be necessary but that would take the fun out of it all and we humans must have our fun! The UFO Museum at Roswell is unique and original and for that, it gets a thumbs up and 5 stars…A definite 'I've been there' experience for you to enjoy.
