What Is a DVC Grand Villa?

In the simplest terms, it is a three-bedroom suite at the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resorts. In more complex terms, it is a fully equipped townhouse.

This massive suite can sleep 12 adults. That's a lot of people! It also has 4 full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is plenty of space. This is the cream of the crop—the best DVC has to offer.

The Bedrooms and Bathrooms

There is a master suite with a king-sized bed and two other bedrooms with two queen-sized beds each. All the bedrooms have dressers and nightstands. The newer rooms have outlets equipped with USB cable charging. There are also TVs with basic cable in each room. There is even a decent-sized closest. Each of the three bedrooms have attached bathrooms! There is even a desk and sitting area in each room.

So, where is the last bed? It's a pullout couch in the living room. If you look the entertainment stand is even a dresser. This is the only room that doesn't have a bathroom attached, though there is a full bath located nearby.

Each of the bathrooms, with the exception of the bathroom near the kitchen, were designed for optimal efficiency. What do I mean by that? The shower and toilet are in their own separate room in the bathroom area. This means you can have someone getting ready at the sink while someone is in the other part of the bathroom. The entire area is very large. The tile floor is very nice and the large space makes a great area for drying ponchos or bathing suits. The bathrooms have all the amenities you would expect at a hotel: towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer.

The renovated rooms have a really fancy movable light-up make-up mirror. It makes me feel super fancy when I'm putting sunscreen on my face in the morning. I can see every pore.

The Kitchen and Dining Area

As I previously mentioned the kitchen is fully equipped. Now, I don't mean it has a fancy stand mixer and all the bells and whistles. But, you can absolutely cook in it. You have everything you need to bake a batch of brownies or pancakes. There is even a dishwasher!

If you are familiar with the kitchens in the other DVC villas you will feel right at home in the kitchen of the grand villa. The major difference is there are more plates, cups, and silverware.

The dining room is where the major difference is. This is a massive table. It can seat as many peoples the grand villa sleeps. That's 12 people! You can have breakfast with the entire family before hitting up the parks or have a family dinner in the privacy of your resort room.

Other Touches of Home

The whole point of the DVC is to feel like you are at home while on vacation. There is a closet that has cleaning supplies should you find the need to vacuum. There is even a laundry closet; you will need to supply your own supplies, but it is very nice to be able to go home with clean clothes.

There are seating options in the living room and in the loft between the two bedrooms upstairs. Oh, that's right, I said upstairs. This is a two-level room. I wasn't kidding when I said it was a townhouse. There is even a balcony, though the balconies at Saratoga Springs are disappointedly small considering the balcony on the two-bedroom suite is twice the size.

When you move in and unpack, it really feels like you are home.
