Woman's Wild Story of Being Kicked Out of Her Alabama Sorority Is Mind-Blowing

Things are really getting out of hand down there.

If you've spent any time on TikTok at all over the last couple of years, there's a good chance that your For You Page has served you some of the viral content surrounding Greek life at schools. As a rule, the south takes sororities very seriously, and apparently, it's extra serious in Alabama. The videos that we've seen from rush are mostly cute and fun, but some of them really bring the drama.

And now, one woman is sharing the story of how she got kicked out of her sorority at the University of Alabama. After watching this video from @iamsydneythomas, we have to say that we might just be speechless.

From the story that she told, it sounds like she made a few minor offenses (like standing on the wrong platform — the horror) that added up to give the sorority a way to kick her out. And according to her, the following she gained on social media had also made her a liability to them.

In a follow up video, things took a wild turn. She had a stalker who was sending her messages online on a daily basis, and it got to the point that she had to get the police involved. In his head, he thought they were dating, and sent an email to her sorority claiming that she had cheated on him and threatening to publicly expose the sorority. What?!

That ended up being the final straw, and she was kicked out. But don't worry — despite the fact that she was clearly the victim in all of this and was treated unfairly, she's made peace with it and feels happier with her college experience on the "outside" of it all.

"I just don't think I was built to be a sorority girl," she admitted.

If this was as fascinating to you as it was to us, there's a very good chance you're going to be into the new documentary, 'Bama Rush, which is now streaming on Max.
