If you ever read Eloise at the Plaza as a child, there's a good chance that you've wished that you could live at a hotel, too... even if it wasn't somewhere as swanky as The Plaza Hotel in New York City. It seems like such a glamorous lifestyle, but we have to admit that it's not practical. Doesn't the cost add up quickly?
Not necessarily, according to one person on TikTok who's living the Eloise dream in real life. In a video, @thirtywaves explained how she moved into a 5-star hotel in the Hamptons temporarily for a lot less than you might think... and it's something that anyone can do.
This woman decided to switch up her work from home routine by checking in at the Topping Rose hotel, a gorgeous hotel in the Hamptons that has all kinds of sweet amenities. Cozy beds with turn down service and a chocolate on your pillow every night, room service, a giant tub for bubble baths, a restaurant helmed by a Michelin star chef, and beautiful views? This sounds absolutely ideal, especially since it's only a five minute drive from the beach.
And thanks to a promotion this boutique hotel is currently running, if you book five weeknights from Sunday to Friday, you'll pay just $100 a night, which is super reasonable for a place like this... and it should offer a nice change of pace if you need to look at something other than the inside of your home and apartment.
If this sounds like something you might want to try — whether you're interested in a change of scenery while working remotely or you'll looking for a relaxing getaway — you can check out the Topping Rose here (and use the code WFH to get the rate). If only we could move in permanently!
