Woman's Adorable 'Staring Contest' With Baby on Her Flight Is Too Precious

Most of the time when people bring up babies aboard flights, it's to complain about one that cried all the way through their trip. Babies, who are especially susceptible to earaches from barometric pressure changes, often do get cranky on flights. But let's not forget that despite this, babies can also be very, very cute!

Travel vlogger Lexi, or @lovelylivingtravel, was seated behind a baby on a recent flight. Normally that isn't a promising start to a travel story, but in Lexi's case, it was the beginning of an adorable adventure!

Aww! Too cute! The curious baby became instantly fascinated with Lexi, which kicked off an ultra-adorable "staring contest" between the two flyers. Watching these two smile back and forth at each other was almost too cute to handle, with the baby continuing to gawk and grin at Lexi until the cartoons finally won over the tot's attention span. If only all flights were so entertaining, we wouldn't even need those screens!

Some marveled at the baby's surprisingly happy demeanor. "I thinks that’s the first baby ever to not cry on a flight lmao," said @danielle.urbahn. "She just VIBED. Looked out the window the whole time what an icon," Lexi replied. This baby flies better than a lot of grown adults! People couldn't get enough of this adorable moment. "This would make my whole day," @eilidhcowan3 admired. "This is my DREAM!" @thelowlowstyle smiled.

If only all babies could be so happy on airplanes! It's not often you capture an adorable, serene moment like this on a commercial flight, but Lexi's impromptu staring contest with this happy baby really warmed our hearts!
