Week-Long Trip to Italy for Under $400 Sounds Too Good to Be True
If you live in the United States and love to travel, there's a good chance that visiting Europe is on your list of must do experiences. But the cost can be a major barrier for some — after all, international flights aren't cheap right now, let alone all of the other elements of a vacation that you'd need to budget for. At this point, we're down to hear any cost-saving ideas that more experienced travelers might have.
Fortunately, TikTok is great for this, and after @evapoint shared that it's possible to spend a week in Italy for under $395 during the Christmas season, she definitely had our attention. Uh, what kind of magic is this?!
According to the video, travelers can book a six night stay in a four star hotel in Florence with breakfast included for just $396. Of course, that doesn't include your flight over there and back, food (other than that free breakfast that was mentioned), transportation during your time in Italy, or the cost of any attractions you might want to visit... but still, we have to admit that's a really good deal!
Apparently, the deal is so good that this TikTok user isn't sharing the details publicly, so if you want to find out what deal she's talking about, you'll have to message her directly. Hmm...
It does sound a bit too good to be true, and viewers in the comments voiced their doubts. "This screams red flag," one person wrote.
If this deal is the real thing, this is a great way to visit Italy on a budget during one of the most magical times of the year. Why can't achieving all of our travel goals be more affordable?!
