Flight Attendant Shares Two Carry-On Must-Haves No One Should Be Without

No matter what the plane's like, she's ready.

Between baggage fees and lost luggage, many of us light-packing air travelers focus on cramming all of our important items into a simple carry-on bag. But other than our clothes, a toothbrush, and our individual personal items, what else should we be carrying onto the plane?

Flight attendant @cici.inthesky is a bona-fide expert in the art of carry-on packing. She points out two particular carry-on must-haves that are essential for keeping her comfy on the plane!

OK, both of these picks are genius. Temperature regulation is a serious issue when it comes to flying. It's usually a given that they'll blast cold air into the cabin, so it's pretty much common sense to bring some kind of jacket or hoodie on board with you. But then half an hour later, it's sweltering hot and you're dying in that jacket. Oh, but wait, now it's cold again. No- now it's hot. The longer the flight, the more tortuous trying to keep up with the tempestuous temperature gets.

But Cici is ready for anything, whether the plane is hot, cold, or otherwise. When the temperature starts to pick up, she pops a USB-powered fan into her phone. Once that temperature starts to dip back down again, she puts away the fan and reaches for her body warming patches. Since these are stick-ons, she doesn't have to resort to gripping hand warmers in her pocket to stay toasty!

Ensuring comfort on an airplane is tricky, especially on long-haul flights where comfort matters the most. Cici's picks solve a genuine problem airplane passengers often encounter,  and they're cheap, easy to use, and the perfect size for squeezing into a carry-on. I know they'll be in my carry-on for my next flight!
