Frequent 'Disney' Visitor Shares Hidden Message on 'Tower of Terror' Ride
Some people think that a trip to Disney World is a one and done experience... but those people don't know that no two trips to Disney are the same. There are so many hidden Mickeys, Easter eggs, and secrets around the theme parks (and even the resorts) that every time you visit, there's a good chance you'll notice a lot of things you never have before. That even includes the tiny details included in the rides that come together to create such a fun experience.
And if you're planning to visit Hollywood Studios anytime soon and don't already know about this, you'll definitely want to keep your eyes peeled for the surprise that @disneywithphoebe shared in her TikTok video. If you know where to look next time you ride the Tower of Terror, you can't miss it!
You probably already know that the Tower of Terror is a drop ride that looks like a broken elevator (to way simplify it), and there's a creepy story behind it. Themed after the classic Twilight Zone TV series, the ride is about what happened to five Hollywood icons who ended up disappearing after they all took an elevator together, and have continued to haunt the hotel ever since, which now sits abandoned.
To fit the story, the Tower of Terror is decked out with dust, cobwebs, and decor that looks like it's been sitting abandoned for years, and that includes the directory near where you board the elevator. You'll notice certain letters are missing on the letter board, but when you get closer as you're about to move into the next room, and as the video explains, you'll see the missing letters spell out a message at the bottom of the board, inside the frame.
We don't want to ruin it for you, but let's just say that you were warned before boarding that faulty elevator!
These are the little things that make Disney so magical... and rides like Tower of Terror so creepy.
