Man's Tour of 'Giant' Royal Caribbean Cruise Suite Is Giving Major FOMO
If we're being honest, we all know that a cruise is not the vacation for you when you're looking for a getaway that involves wide open spaces. Sure, the ocean itself goes on forever... but that's where the feeling of spaciousness ends. Newer cruise ships are getting bigger and bigger every year, so they certainly feel less crowded than they once did — even the most affordable staterooms are feeling far less cramped. But like with many of the most inconvenient parts of cruising, this, too, is a problem that can be solved if you have the cash to shell out to solve it!
Case in point: the cruise suite featured in this TikTok video. Not only is this suite bigger than some hotel rooms on land, but it's actually bigger than many people's apartments!
On Sunday, April 28, traveler Brad Bromlow gave his TikTok followers a tour of his suite on a Royal Caribbean cruise, and it's making me seriously jealous! Usually, I'm willing to spring for a balcony stateroom, but this is on another level entirely!
This suite is on Harmony of the Seas, and it's seriously impressive. And judging by the decorations, it seems safe to say that someone in his group is celebrating a birthday in this suite during their 7-day cruise — the perfect opportunity to splurge for something like this.
When you first walk in, there's a huge bathroom with a surprising amount of counter space, so even at first glimpse, this room is earning major points. Following him down the hallway, we see two bedrooms (one of which has its own bathroom), and then the hallway ends in a big common room, with a dining table and chairs on one side and a living room set up (complete with couch) on the other.
There's also a massive balcony, and they have the coolest view of the AquaTheater without having to leave their room. How cool!
More About the Harmony of the Seas Suites
If you're experiencing as much FOMO as I am looking at this room, here's everything you need to know.
The suite is a two bedroom AquaTheater Suite, and comes with 739 square foot of cabin space that can be shared by up to eight guests. Since this is a concierge suite, it comes with all kinds of perks besides the awesome digs, like an exclusive lounge, access to a suite-only private beach, and even the drink package is included.
However, for all those perks, you're gonna pay. Though it varies by sailing, you can expect a rate in suites like this along the lines of $13,000 for the trip, which becomes a bit more manageable if you're able to split it eight ways with a group of friends or family members.
For a special occasion like a birthday like this family, though? It's hard to imagine a more memorable celebration.
