'Super Nintendo World' Is Almost Finished and It Looks Just Amazing

We can't wait to check this place out!

Theme park fans and video game fans alike have a lot to look forward in the coming years. Super Nintendo World is currently under construction at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando (where it will be part of a bigger, brand new park, Epic Universe). And now, it looks like the west coast version of the park is just about complete.

On TikTok, @themeparkshark shared some aerial footage of the progress at Super Nintendo World in California, and even though it isn't done yet, it still looks so impressive. Seeing the world of Mario come to life is like getting the chance to step right back into our childhoods!

So many of these familiar sights look like they jumped right out of our favorite video game console. We can see Bowser's Castle, along with the rolling green hills and colorful pipes that characterize the famous video game series starring Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. Stepping into this part of Universal Studios for the first time is really going to be wild, and it looks like the people working on it are doing an incredible job so far.

Super Nintendo World in Japan has been open for nearly two years now, and it looks like the American version of the park will be very similar. In the comments on this video, fans shared their excitement.

"Wow!! Graphics are starting to look so real," one person commented, while another added, "it looks like something from a dream."

Even though it looks nearly complete, we still have a bit of a wait between us and the official opening of Super Nintendo World in Hollywood. This park is expected to open in early 2023, while the Orlando counterpart is slated for a summer 2025 opening date.

We can't wait to explore this area ourselves when it's finally open. It's going to be amazing!
