Southwest Flight Crew Makes an Elderly Passenger’s Flight Attendant Dreams Come True
Distinct from other airlines, Southwest is renowned for the humor, energy, and occasional irreverence of their flight crews. Even as the company itself has hit rocky points over the last year, it's the special people that staff their flights that keep customers coming back.
Recently, one Southwest crew went above and beyond for Harvey, a first-time flyer with Southwest. When Harvey expressed that he'd always wanted to be a flight attendant, the @southwestair crew decided to make his dream a reality!
I love it- they make this man's dream come true, and he immediately starts cracking jokes! The panache, the camp, the energy- he's a shoe-in for Southwest Airlines! Harvey definitely brought the right spirit to the cabin that day, sharing his joy at having his dream come true with the rest of the plane! It didn't hurt that his was gifted a crown of airplane snacks to honor his great achievement, too!
While flight attendant training is a long and grueling process, this friendly crew was happy to skirt protocol and hand Harvey his honorary flight attendant wings for the day. It's that kind of free-spirited energy that folks love from the incredible workers at Southwest, and people were thrilled for Harvey finally getting his time in the spotlight working his dream job!
