Mom's Hack for Skipping the Lines at 'Versailles' Is a Major Game-Changer

Watch this before heading to Paris.

We're always looking for ways to save time on vacation — that's the only way to make sure you fit in everything on your "must see" list, after all. And if you're planning a trip to France anytime soon and hope to visit Versailles, get ready for this tip, because it's going to save you a lot of time and stress.

One mom on TikTok, @mrsblinks, shared a hack she found out while backpacking through Europe with her three daughters (so impressive). Apparently, there's a pretty inexpensive way to totally skip the line while visiting the palace where Marie Antoinette once lived, and it's easy enough for anyone to do, whether they're traveling with kids or not.

The hack involves making a reservation at the restaurant at the palace, and then ordering a meal that comes with a ticket, which costs $40 euros, for each adult (kids get in free). The breakfast was "simple" but good, and best of all, it means that you get to totally skip the line for the tour when you're finished eating. It doesn't get much easier than that, and you can cross breakfast off the list at the same time.

Even better? In the comments, people offered up their best tips for seeing Versailles.

Another trick is to go in the afternoon after lunch. The tour buses all go in the morning and by the afternoon they are all gone," one person said.

"Book a guided tour through the palace website. It’s €10 extra and you skip the line completely," another added.

Anyone else taking notes? This is so helpful!
