Woman's Fall Foliage Leaf Peeping Trip in New England Has Us Ready to Say Goodbye to Summer

Bring on the gorgeous fall colors!

We're still more than a month away from the first day of fall, but let's admit it — this whole summer thing is getting a little older. The high temps have been brutal, and now that the first signs of Halloween decor are starting to pop up in stores, we're ready for cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice everything, and of course, pretty fall leaves.

But if you live in a part of the country where the leaves don't change colors too vividly (or at all) and really want to see some impressive foliage this year, keep reading. Thanks to @heleneinbetween on TikTok, we have an itinerary for seeing all of the best fall leaves in New England. This is absolutely the way to get us in the mood for fall!

For those who want to go leaf peeping, there are a few key locations this traveler recommends over a week spent in New England. A train ride through New Hampshire, a drive on the Kancamagus Highway, a visit to Vermont, and even the Ben & Jerry's factory? Yeah, this trip includes everything, and the stunning visuals in the video are enough to make us want to book a trip.

In the comments, she also recommended to plan the trip in late September or early October if possible — and yes, we are writing all of this down!

We're ready to go leaf peeping. Who wants to go shopping for boots and scarves?
