Mom's Viral Tip for Flying With Kids Under 3 Hits the Nail Right on the Head

Traveling with young kids can be very tricky. It's like rolling the dice on whether or not you're going to be able to travel (without losing your mind) for at least the next decade. On one hand, seeing new places can be a great way for a family to spend time together. But on the other hand, if you have particularly difficult kids, your vacation can turn into a nightmare.

In a video that was shared on TikTok by @kristinmclaughlan, one mom gives us her best "tip" for flying with children under the age of 3. We're sure many new moms can either agree or benefit from this advice! And honestly, she couldn't have said this any better.

LOL, basically her tip is, DON'T fly with young kids at all! People are split on this so-called "travel hack." Some folks think that a holiday vacation for a new family can be a core memory in their development, like one user who said, "Having sat close to a baby that cried all the way from London to Sydney, can I say, No sweat, we all had kids or were kids. Have a great holiday." How kind! If only everyone thought that way.

Many others are siding with the creator and agree that babies are just not meant for flying. One commenter, @jo.norman1212 said ,"Hahahah we took our two grandchildren, 1.5 and 2.5. We needed a holiday after our holidays 😂". We can only imagine what that vacation was like! Still, the creator wanted everyone to know in the comments that her TikTok was all just for fun, "I’m totally joking! But if you’re traveling through Pearson in Toronto - it’s SUCH A MESS!" So we guess the moral of the story is, if you're a new parent, you might want to stick to road trips, at least for the time being. There will be plenty of flights to catch once the little ones are out of diapers.
