Dad Gets Fired Up After Older Couple Kicks His Kids Out of the Hot Tub

Nothing sours an otherwise good day faster than an unfortunate encounter with rude, nasty people. Look, we all have bad days, and sometimes the best thing to do is to let a bit of mean behavior slide. However, some people take things way too far- and that's when you need to stick up for yourself!

TikTok user @rental.cashflow documented an older couple who kicked his kids out of their hotel's hot tub. At first we thought filming them was a bit much- but after hearing his story, we understand why he did it!

Uh...excuse me? Talk about the absolute freakin' audacity. This couple crossed over the line multiple times, but capping it all off by surreptiously photographing underage children in bathing suits was so far from OK, it's crazy. All things considered, we can't blame him for documenting the incident- they violated his family's privacy!

Despite getting fired up, he still seemed at a loss for what to do next. Luckily, a few of the commenters had some genuinely savvy suggestions. "If you’re not breaking any age restrictions then talk to management or security!" recommended @12345dancerbyheart.

Beyond hotel pool rules, though, there's possibly an even greater legal precedent to consider. "Call the cops- it's illegal to film a minor without parental consent. (In my state at least)," advised @corvusmourningstar. "Talk to the manager and call the police," @valeroeroalez805 echoed this decisive action.

Was this family entirely in the right for letting their kids in the hot tub? That we can't say for certain- while some hot tubs allow kids, some facilities set age restrictions, and the OP did not clarify whether that was the case here. Regardless, the older couple's Karen behavior crossed over into full-on creepy behavior when they started photographing the young children. The older couple could have gone to management themselves if they really thought a hotel rule was being broken, but instead, they violated the family's privacy and possibly even broke the law.

We can't speak for him, but this is a scenario where we'd consider it fully acceptable to stand up for yourself and your family. While we can't say what the circumstances will be for everybody who finds themselves in a similar predicament, we'd personally recommend at the very least notifying the manager if you're ever in a similar situation. Don't compromise with creepy bullies when it comes to your kids!
