Hallmark's 'Immersive' Christmas Experience in Kansas City Sounds Like a Dream Come True

People will be all over this!

OK, I get it- it's mid-May, temperatures are on the rise, and we haven't even officially kicked off the start of summer yet, so it's a little early to start thinking about Christmas. We're not even into the whole quirky "Christmas in July" territory yet- heck, we've still got a week and half left before Memorial Day!

Listen... I hear you. I do. However, I also know there's people out there who get more hyped for the holidays more than anything else, and are always ready to flex their Christmas spirit. If I've just described you, then you're going to want to clear your calendar for this upcoming Yuletide extravaganza that Hallmark just announced today.

Hallmark spread the word on X/Twitter shortly after People Magazine broke the news in an exclusive announcement: Hallmark (the creators of everyone's favorite greeting cards and holiday movies) will host their first-ever Hallmark Christmas Experience at the Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri, Hallmark's official HQ. Think San Diego Comic Con, but for Hallmark holiday movie superfans!

"Every weekend from Nov. 29 through Dec. 23, fans will have the opportunity to meet Hallmark movie stars from their favorite holiday films," the exclusive announcement from People reads. Dozens of special guests will attend over the course of the multi-weekend event, but some of the biggest names include Andie McDowell, Lacey Chabert, Tyler Hynes, Wes Brown, and Jonathan Bennet.

Getting the opportunity to meet Hallmark stars is only the icing on the Christmas cake, though. People announced that ticketed activities include "photo-ops with the stars, behind-the-scenes panels, movie marathons, breakfast with Santa, curated workshops with Hallmark artists, and more." The announcement also hints at additional activities, including experiencing holiday-themed food and drinks. ice skating, and a tree lighting ceremony "featuring one of the tallest Christmas trees in the world." Getting the Jump on Hallmark Christmas Experience Tickets

This is all great news if you're someone who gets super pumped for the holiday season, especially if you're a Hallmark movie fan! But why are we talking about this so far out? Well, Hallmark is really planning this one out in advance: tickets for the Hallmark Christmas Experience are dropping tomorrow, May 16, at 11 am ET, on the Hallmark Christmas Experience website.

The Christmas Experience website states that a limited quantity of individual tickets, ranging from $5 to $99, will be available Summer '24. Some experiences will be open to the public, no ticket required, like ice skating at the ice terrace and their Christmas Market. If you really want the deluxe experience, though, there will also be two tiers of VIP packages going on sale; a $259 one and a $699, with extra exclusive perks.

I guess it's never too early to start planning for the holidays! Besides, that gives out-of-town visitors ample time to plan out where to stay in Kansas City (the event website also has helpful information to help you plan out your visit). Ready to get into the Christmas spirit on a whole other level? Better be ready for that ticket drop tomorrow!
