Planes aren't typically known for their spacious legroom, but some seats allow you to stretch out a bit more than others. Anyone who has suffered through a cramped flight because they unknowingly booked a seat with poor legroom knows that just a little extra space can make a world of difference, especially for those of us on the taller side.
For the longest time, getting a seat with good legroom has been kind of a crapshoot. You can usually count on roomier seating near the exits or in business and first class, but for the most part, you won't know what you'll get until you're actually on board. Well today, that all changes. TikTok user @zacharyburrabel is here to show us a Google Chrome extension that is the ultimate lifehack for flyers who like to stretch their legs!
This is so COOL! Seriously, we would have been using this from the beginning if we'd known about this before. There are a lot of factors that go into booking a flight, but if adequate legroom is a priority for you, this extension will help you make your choice. We can especially see this being helpful for picking long-haul or international flights!
In fact, some of the commenters considered that themselves. User @donnak82 asked "Can you somehow set the explore option to include international flights?" User @irllyshouldbestudying helpfully responded with "Yes! You just have to pick a continent. So you can search all of Europe at one time then change to South America for a new search etc." Sweet, good to know!
This extension could potentially save lives...alright, that's a huge exaggeration, but it could definitely save more than a few leg muscles from getting cramped. If you're sick of getting squashed into small, stiff seats, try the Legrooms For Google Flights extension the next time you book an airline trip!
