Visitor to Savannah Claims to Have Caught a Ghost on Camera in Her Instagram Stories
There are a lot of spooky cities across the United States, and in the south, Savannah, Georgia is the go-to for a lot of ghost hunters. Not only is Savannah a beautiful place to visit right off the coast with some really good southern food, but it's also thought of to be home to a lot of paranormal activity. Between all the history and the ghost sightings over the years, people come from all over to take tours and try to spot one themselves.
That's what happened to one woman, @herjoliejourney, when she visited Savannah. She was taking in the charm of the city when she realized that there was something weird about one of the photos she'd shared on her Instagram Stories, and it might just be proof that a ghost was there.
She said that she was on Jones Street, taking photos and enjoying the sights and sounds of the area when the picture in question was taken. Looking back at her posts, she realized that she could see a figure that looks like a Victorian woman in one of the pictures, but when she compared them to the photos that her husband had taken on his phone, she noticed something weird while looking at the time stamps: The same figure appeared in his photos within seconds of her taking the pictures on her phone. Crazy!
"It's possible my bias is just playing into it because I know Savannah is haunted, or it's just an anomaly in the photo," she admitted in the video.
It wasn't just her, though — in the comments, plenty of others said they were seeing the same thing.
"I have a picture of a boy in Victorian clothing on a porch. We were in a residential area and there was no one around," another Savannah visitor wrote.
Whether it was a ghost or just something weird about the photos, this makes for a really cool story. It's almost enough to convince us to head down to Savannah ourselves and see what we can find...
