Upscale Water Park at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Is As Bougie As It Gets

This isn't your average water attraction!

Water parks are a lot of fun. Whether they're the fancier kind found at Disney World and Universal Studios or our hometown park, you can't go wrong with a few slides and a loop or two on the lazy river on a hot summer day.

But there's one water park in Tennessee that's in another league altogether. On TikTok, @travelhappyamanda shared a glimpse of Soundwaves, the water park at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, and when she called it "bougie," she definitely wasn't kidding. We didn't think it was possible for a water park to be upscale, but this one definitely is!

This water park seems to have everything... including living walls that have plants on them! It's spread over four acres and is three levels tall. If you want to go to the pool, sure, you can do that here too — but the other features it offers is next level.

There are massive water slides, a lazy river, and plenty to offer the entire family. If you have the kids with you or you're there for an adult getaway, there's definitely something for everyone here.

According to the video, only guests at the Gaylord hotel are able to visit the water park, which is another perk at staying in these luxe digs. Go hit a few slides, and then take a nap in the room before going out to dinner? Yeah, that sounds like the ideal day to us.
