Disney World Local Shares Her Favorite Little Known Spots to Watch the Fireworks

In front of the castle isn't the only spot.

As a very frequent visitor, one of my favorite activities at Disney World is watching the fireworks — in particular, the Happily Ever After fireworks display at Magic Kingdom. No matter how many times I watch it, I still get so emotional, thinking about how much I loved the movies featured in the show as a kid and the joy I get from watching my own daughter discover them now. And obviously, I'm not the only one who feels that way; the area in front of the castle and Main Street USA is absolutely packed with people who are excited to see them night after night, no matter what time of year it is.

But dealing with those crowds in front of the castle isn't the only way to enjoy the fireworks, and a lot of people would even tell you it's not the best way. Sure, being in front of the castle is the only place to see the projections that go along with the show, but you can hear the soundtrack and see the fireworks from a lot of different areas, and one local is reminding us of that.

In a TikTok video shared recently, United Kingdom transplant @abritofcharlie is sharing her favorite places to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. She decided to switch things up, checking out the fireworks from different areas in the park to see which is best, and now, we get to benefit from her research as we plan our future Disney World trips.

Here, she showed what it's like to watch the fireworks from the Main Street train station. Though this does require getting there a bit early, if you can secure a spot upstairs, you'll have a clear view of the fireworks without any obstruction. Just from this clip, we can see it's an amazing view.

In fact, she was so impressed that she called it the best place she's ever watched fireworks — talk about a rave review!

If you're interested in more viewing areas, this is part of a series. Recently, she shared what It was like to watch the fireworks from Disney's Polynesian Resort, which also comes with a lot of perks... like grabbing a drink at the bar beforehand.

Sometimes, getting a little creative and trying something new is what will make your Disney trip truly unforgettable. And come on — is there really such thing as a bad view when it comes to these fireworks?
