Woman Shares the Hilarious Reality of Visiting Disneyland After Turning 30

Pass the Tums, please.

As a self-proclaimed Disney adult who grew up visiting the theme parks many times in my childhood, I can say for certain there's a distinct difference between the two experiences. As a kid, you have all the energy in the world, and walking 10 miles a day barely phases you — you're too busy having fun to even give sore feet a second thought. And though I still think the parks have a magic all their own as an adult (whether you're visiting with your own kids or not), it can be a bit of a painful experience.

Because now, those sore feet are a problem. And your back hurts. And suddenly, you can't eat five Mickey ice cream bars in a day without consequences. If this is sounding familiar to you, there's a very good chance you're going to get a good hack out of this video that is way too real to me.

On Wednesday, November 8, Disney fan @stuckinneverlandco shared this video of what it's like to visit Disneyland in your thirties, and I just have to laugh because this is so close to what my experience has been — at the California park or at Disney World in Florida.

The video includes multiple breaks to pass the Tums around, along with the travel size package of Advil (and no, I do not ever leave my hotel room without both of those items in my bag). At one point, they even stop to pour some Liquid IV in their water bottles so they can stay hydrated. Gotta have those electrolytes!

If this is your experience too, don't worry — you're in good company. The comments are absolutely flooded with people who found this far too relatable for comfort, including those who haven't even hit 30 yet.

One person wrote, "I’m 28. I had to use the bathroom 3 times in a span of a half hour. My body can’t handle sugar anymore."

Another commenter added, "Just add epsom salt for the foot soak at the end of the day. Nailed it!"

And another hot Disney tip: Pack the Dramamine. These old bodies just can't handle roller coasters the way they used to, but that doesn't mean you should have to miss out on Space Mountain
