Creepy Secret of Disney's 'It's a Small World' Ride Is Blowing People's Minds

We aren't sure what to make of this.

Anyone who's been to Disneyland or Disney World before knows that "It's a Small World" is a classic. Animatronic dolls representing the different countries of the world? A song that will get stuck in your head for the rest of the day? What's not the love? And even if it's not your favorite ride ever, you at least have to admit that it's a great air conditioning break on a hot day.

But there's one thing about the ride that's really creeping people out, as @disneywithphoebe shared on TikTok. It has to do with the dolls... and their hair. Make sure you're prepared before clicking play on this one!

Yes, Disney cast members have to cut the dolls' hair... but not because they're secretly alive or they're growing or anything like that. The reason is far more simple, as we learned in the video, though those commenting aren't loving that these dolls need haircuts for any reason.

"I knew there was a reason I didn't like this ride," one person wrote.

Someone else added another creepy take on the ride, commenting, "Even creepier: the animatronics are never turned off, so even when the ride is closed at night they're all still spinning and dancing."

Yeah, that's a big "no thanks" from us.

Next time you ride "It's a Small World," pay special attention to these dolls and their hair. Something tells us we'll never look at this ride the same way again...
