Dates for Epcot's 2024 Food and Wine Festival Were Just Announced

Time to book your trip!

As a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World, I have to say that Epcot is one of my favorite places to spend a day. Of course, one of the biggest things that draws people to this park are the food and drinks, so it goes without saying that the festivals that run throughout the year are a big draw, too. Of all of the annual events, Food and Wine Festival is my favorite, and I could talk all day about why this festival is the best time to visit the park.

And now, we finally have an update on what's happening with this year's event. This week, the dates for the 2024 festival were announced, and we can officially start planning to get our grub on later this year.

After Disney shared the news, @disneyforfoodies posted the dates on TikTok in this video that will definitely tempt you to plan a trip to Disney World — everything looks so good!

It's official: The 2024 Epcot Food and Wine Festival is happening August 29-November 23, giving us two months to check out all of this year's offerings.

You might notice that the festival is starting a bit later than it has in years past. After the parks reopened after they were shut down for the pandemic, Food & Wine Festival has been kicking off in July, which is much earlier than usual. But now that the parks are running full steam ahead, the festivals are all shifting back to to start and end closer to the dates they once did.

The menus haven't been announced yet, but if this year's festival is anything like last year's, we all have a lot to look forward to.

More Details on the 2024 Food & Wine Festival

Disney originally shared the news on the parks' official blog on Wednesday, April 24, giving us four full months to make a plan of attack.

So far, they've also announced that the Germany, Belgium, and Hawaii booths will all be returning, and so are a few beloved festival traditions. The Eat to the Beat concert series is back, and so is Emile’s Fromage Montage, a Ratatouille-themed food stroll where guests eat different cheese-focused dishes served at the festival in exchange for a prize — usually a yummy free dessert.

If you're hoping to go, I recommend hitting the festival on a weekday when it's less crowded, and definitely avoid holiday weekends. The earlier, the better; visiting Disney just as kids are going back to school in early September can be a great way to avoid crowds.

See you in Epcot this fall!
