Couple Has Wild Story About Why They Were Banned From 'Carnival Cruise Line'
Vacation is a time about kicking back, relaxing, and letting loose — what's the point if you can't let go of the stress that real life brings you on a daily basis for a few days? But some people take that whole "letting loose" idea a bit too literally, and that's where they run into trouble. We totally understand why hotels, cruise ships, and tourist attractions would need the ability to ban people from using their services in the future, since safety always comes first.
But one story that a recent cruiser, @lyddddia, is sharing on TikTok, just isn't adding up, and it's sparked a lot of questions from those who have watched her viral video. She and her fiancé have been banned from Carnival Cruise Line, and after listening to her story, we have some questions ourselves.
According to the OP, she and her partner were just walking around the ship, minding their own business, when they witnessed an altercation going down between another man and a woman on their cruise. Her fiancé is a police officer — as his day job, not on the cruise ship — and believed the woman was in danger, so he stepped in to restrain the man until help arrived.
The ship ended up returning to Miami to let the man and woman off, and continued on its way, with the OP and her fiancé still on it. But at the end of the cruise, he was served with a "barring notice," stating that he would no longer be able to cruise with Carnival because of his participation in the fight. And even when he argued with the cruise line about it, their decision remained the same.
In the comments, people are wondering if there might be more to the story... but this woman is sticking to what she's shared so far. Fortunately, others had more sympathy.
"I'm sorry this happened to you! Your fiancé did the right thing! Thank you both!" one person wrote.
We can't say for sure what happened on that ship, but this story is something to keep in mind when considering Carnival for a future cruise.
