Couple Sleeps in Their Car After Creepy Experience at Haunted 'Clown Motel'

Motels are often known for being kinda shoddy, and there are plenty of reasons why a person might not want to stay in one. But how often have you had to flee a motel because it was haunted? If that sounds creepy, you'll definitely want to avoid the Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada; a roadside motel decorated with clowns from top-to-bottom- oh, and it's next to a graveyard.

Traveling couple @sheenaandjason thought they could withstand one night there. They were wrong.

Yeah, nah. That's a huge "Nope" from us. In our opinion, their first mistake was booking a room there to begin with. To be fair, we have to admire their tenacity for trying withstand a full night there. That said, once you start hearing disembodied clown laughter and seeing sleep paralysis clown demons... well, let's just say we'd rather sleep it off in a Burger King parking lot, too.

Now, some people dogged Sheena and Jason for bailing on their night's stay at the Clown Motel, thinking they were being dramatic. "Stayed there several times and it’s not haunted. People just overreact," boasted @daviddubois281. "Omg oh no lol I live here and it's not bad," laughed @hollywoodhammie775.

That being said, the majority seemed to sympathize with them. "I had an anxiety attack when y’all pulled into the parking lot," admitted @dowagerhussy. "Absolutely no way in h*ll," agreed @phatgirlgreetings. "Driven quickly past that place many times... closest I’ve been outside my car is the Burger King," laughed @amandas1366.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, viewer @theoriginaldevilwoman2.0 decided to throw in a local legend: "Apparently there is a clown ghost that comes over from the nearby cemetery." NO THANKS!

If you really, really like clowns, or you like seeking out spooks and scares even while you sleep, then maybe the Clown Motel in Tonopah would be the right fit for you. As for us, we'll take our motels clown ghost-free, thank you very much!
