Tour of the 'Cheapest and Smallest' Cabin on 'Carnival' Cruise Is Unexpected

We've all been there before- you're browsing through cruises online, checking out all the different destinations and the activities and amenities on each ship. Then you finally glance at the prices and- nope, you're out. You're gonna have to dig deep if you want that glamorous trip.

But what if you were willing to take a smaller cabin for a cheaper ticket on board your favorite ship? Cruise enthusiast @emmacruises took the cheapest, smallest cabin on her recent trip with Carnival- and honestly, it's not what we expected.

Honestly... this isn't that bad? The "no windows" thing is kind of a bummer, but it's to be expected from the cheapest cabin. Otherwise, though, it's actually pretty cozy- and not in a cramped way either. We've seen way smaller options on board some cruise liners! This actually would be an excellent room for a solo traveler or a couple cruising on a budget!

"That is bigger then my first apartment," quipped @orianna1536. "As a solo traveller, booking inside cabins is one of the only ways I can afford to cruise. And you can have the best naps in total darkness!" agreed @carmenincalgary.

Even with the cozy accommodations for cheap, though, whether or not the lack of windows was a dealbreaker was debated. "Wow, that’s pretty roomy. But I couldn’t do it without a window. You never know what time it is lol," remarked @greystone123456. "Oh no way! I can’t! Always need an outside balcony! Love to sit out and read with a drink when the LOs are asleep," said @belle_chloe_chanel.

Fair enough. Others, however, didn't seem to mind! "I like inside cabins - nice and dark at night," said @jonniepee007. "Looks good to me.... I mean how much time does one spend in their cabin other than to sleep ...." observed @goddesslaurie. Exactly- just get up early and hit the pools and observation deck!

Still, we understand people's preferences. However, if you've always wanted to go on a cruise but couldn't swing the high cost of most cabins- and you can handle having a room with no windows- consider staying in one of these for a peaceful, budget-friendly trip!
