Roller Coaster on New 'Carnival Celebration' Is Something Else

What will they think of next?

If you haven't taken a cruise in awhile, you might think there's not much to do on board a ship. Sure, relaxing by the pool with a cold drink is nice, and some cruises even have casinos on board... but what else is there? Oh, a lot has changed in recent years, my friends — and now, there's a feature on one new cruise ship that we never thought was possible.

There's an actual rollercoaster on the new Carnival Celebration, and after seeing the video that @cruisefever shared on TikTok, we are seriously intrigued. How do they keep managing to surprise us?

It's called BOLT, and from this video alone, it looks like a lot of fun. We can't see the whole track here, but it looks like it does the most important thing that rollercoasters on land do: Go fast, of course.

According to the Carnival website, this is the first rollercoaster at sea, and the experience is totally customizable. Once you board the motorcycle-style ride vehicle, you can control how fast it goes by using the pedal, and you get to experience a 360 view of the sea while you ride. And according to the OP, you can reserve the time you ride on the Carnival app, which means your time spent waiting in line will be minimal. Sounds amazing!

This sea coaster can be found on both the brand new Celebration, along with the Carnival Mardi Gras. The price to ride isn't included in your cruise, but for $15, it seems worth it to get to do two laps around the coaster track.

This seems like something both cruise fans and thrill seekers should definitely check out.
