'Off-the-Grid' Airbnb on a Private Island in Canada Is the Perfect Place to Completely Escape

The hosts even pick you up on a boat.

Now that Airbnb is so popular, it's easy to understand why many people are choosing to book through the company while they travel rather than stay in traditional hotels. You can't beat having a whole house or apartment to yourself (if that's what you book, anyway) or having amenities like a full kitchen at a much lower price. And then, there's the fact that some Airbnbs out there are way more unique than any hotel you could ever find.

Case in point: This totally off-the-grid stay on a private island in Canada that @airbnb is sharing on their official Instagram account. Not only does it require a truly beautiful 30 minute boat ride to even get to your Airbnb, but once you've reached your destination, you'll find it's pretty stunning as well.

You'll be sleeping in a treehouse, and though it requires a bit of a climb to get there, it's totally worth the view — and how truly magical it is inside. It includes a hot tub, an outdoor shower, and a yurt, which is where you'll find the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and another bedroom. And since there's also a cabin at your disposal, this is a great Airbnb to book with a group of friends.

Being on water also means you can fill your days with kayaking, swimming, and just enjoying the peace and quiet while you take a break and unplug. (And just in case you don't want to unplug, there is wifi available!)

Ready to plan your stay? You can find this Airbnb here and book for $525 per night, keeping in mind that you do get the whole private island to yourself!

This is a glamping dream. Anyone else packing their bags already?
