Cute Airplane That Looks Like a Beluga Whale Is Such a Happy Sight

Not every airplane sports the same plain fuselage. Many airlines around the world decorate their aircraft with beautiful patterns and images to make themselves stand out in the skies. This very special aircraft, however went a little bit further in its unique decoration.

TikTok user @johardman78 was mesmerized when an odd-looking airplane flew above her neighborhood. But this was no ordinary airplane- it was a special aircraft designed to look like a smiling beluga whale!

AWW! Oh my goodness, what a happy sight. This charming and surprising beluga plane brightened up the cloudy skies with its adorable smiling appearance. Who knew that a plane could ever look so, well...friendly?

We had trouble figuring out what airline this curious beluga plane belonged to. Air Canada? Alaska Airlines? Well, it turns out that the answer was in the comments. It actually doesn't belong to a commercial passenger airline at all: this craft serves a very specific purpose.

"Airbus Beluga Aircraft, used to transport plane parts. There is only like 10 in the world I believe," informed @altrainspotter. We looked up to see if those numbers were true, and it's actually less- there's only 5! Viewer @shanereid_88 confirmed the airplane identification: "It's a Beluga, and they carry wings to Germany to be sprayed, then brought back to be fitted on aircrafts."

So Jo got really lucky with her chance glance at the skies that day- not only did she spot the adorable cargo craft, she also saw one of the only 5 Beluga planes in the world! That said, it's a shame that these airplanes only carry other airplane parts... we'd pay double to fly aboard the happy Beluga plane if we could!
