Historic Hotel in Yosemite National Park Makes Us So Nostalgic
Visiting the National Parks across the United States is a major goal for so many travel lovers. Not only are they some of the most beautiful places in the country, but they also hold so much history. And given the waterfalls and gorgeous scenery, it's easy to see while Yosemite National Park in California would be at the top of many people's lists.
If you're planning a visit to Yosemite sometime soon, you will definitely want to check out this TikTok video from @localemag. Many people don't know about the historic hotel at the park and exactly how much luxury can be found while appreciating the great outdoors.
It's called the Ahwahnee Hotel, and since it was built in the 1920s, it holds a lot of history (not to mention the gorgeous architecture that dates back to that time). The video described the hotel as "grand," which it definitely is — both inside and out.
The views of Yosemite are obviously a big perk of staying here, but so is the hotel itself. The food looks incredible, and so do the fireplaces that are so big you can technically sit inside them, which looks like the perfect way to warm up after exploring the park if you visit during the winter.
