The author is an Honours Gradute in Political Science from Queens Uiversity Belfast (QUB). Previous to this he studied Combined Social and Behavioural Sciences at UUC followed by a year and a half long 'sabbatical'. After graduating from QUB, the author gained a place on an Accreditied Journalism Studies Course at the Belfast Institute of Higher and Further Education (BIFHE). The author hold a 3 PTLLS teaching qualification from Belfast Metropolitan College. His 'A' Level qualifications are in History and politics and has five 'O' Level qualifications, including Irish.
He later worked as a researcher at the Mellon family funded Ulster American Folk Park into Irish enigration to North America and Australia. He worked in the security industry for many years, from 'bouncing' in Belfast's pubs and clubs to large festivals, including personal security. He worked as a Rresidential Support Worker for the cirty's homeless addicts and those with chronic alcohol problems. He later worked as a Support Worker with homless families.
The author's pastimes and hobbies include Power Lifting for core strength and some weigt-training for hypertrophy. He gained a Brown Belt (with license) from UUC Shotokan Karate Club. He loves dogs, especially, Black Labradors. His interests include Monopoly Capitalism (imperialism), late stage capitalism's decline, national liberation sruggles, Marxism-Leninism, Irish Republican Socialism, the Gobal South, Irish issues, James Connolly and being in the Inishowen Peninsula, Donegal. I enjoy folk music, Metal, Indie and other eclectic musical tastes..
