Hi! I have been teaching high school science for 3 years in East Tennessee. Before moving here, I lived in Michigan for most of my life. I attended Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) and in 2006, received a B.S. in Human Biology with a specialization in Bioethics and Humanities. Following this, I attended the University of Tennessee to pursue dual Masters degrees - one in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology, and the other in Secondary Science Education. I graduated with each of these degrees in 2009 and 2010, respectively. During this time, I also wrote and published several articles as a freelance science writer for the Knoxville News Sentinel, our local newspaper. At present, I enjoy teaching kids and feel fortunate to have been so blessed in my life.
